The tube is divided into 6 concentric zones, as you can see in the
following map.
The ticket price depends on how many zones you travel through.
How to get to the centre from the airports
Depending on the airport of your arrival, your first destination in London should be King's Cross, Victoria or Tottenham Hale.
At the tube station buy a "weekly travelcard for zone 1 and 2" or a "weekly travelcard for zone 1 to 3".
With the weekly travel card you can travel throughout all the indicated zones by tube, by bus or by train.
It's a much cheaper option than buying a daily ticket for 7 days.
